Rules of Video Poker

The Video Poker makes its appearance in the early 70s through the new gaming technologies. The game mixes elements of slot machines with elements of traditional Poker. Unlike poker, the video poker is not played against other players but with a video program that distributes the cards to determine the outcome of the games. There is then the player and a machine equipped with a video screen that can as the case may be provided with buttons to allow the player to place bets. Currently, you can also play video poker through your own computer using a simple software or playing directly on the Internet. In the latter case, you can play using the components of its hardware as a mouse, keyboard or gamepad.

Before you can bet (as in any gambling) you must make a bet. Typically for every launch bets can range from € 0.1 to € 5. To bet the maximum, there is always a dedicated button labeled “Bet Max” (maximum bet), the consistency of the wager also determines the size of the premium in case there is a winning combination. After placing the bet you can now launch the game by pressing another called special button “Deal”. With the first launch are dealt 5 cards that can be held up or blocked with the buttons below them. Games like the SlotMachine VideoPoker and do not require special strategies. Winning combinations are mainly due to two factors:

1 – The fortune.

2 – The block of the right cards

For luck did not need much explanation, the machine randomly distributes the cards using a seed number (random seed), usually associated with a timer, to create more random combinations.

Card blocking instead requires a bit of skill. You have to know all the winning combinations and block those cards that can enable you to get the desired combination to the next launch.
